We surveyed our membership to understand how we did during the pandemic
In 2021, we held a membership survey to get feedback about members’ experience of being part of the CCQI quality and accreditation networks. This was held during the COVID-19 pandemic, when we had to move all reviews and events online. The feedback from those who completed the survey was very positive:
83% felt our networks had supported them very well or quite well
93% who attended a CCQI event were very or somewhat satisfied
79% who attended an online review were very or somewhat satisfied
73% who received an online review were very or somewhat satisfied
The feedback from members highlighted that at a very challenging time for mental health services, participation in a CCQI network had continued to have significant value.
“The opportunities for learning and networking arising from the activities available. Brilliant opportunities for reflection!”
“The support, webinars and information provided has been excellent”
“It is always really helpful to know how other services are dealing with the same issues. Shared knowledge is invaluable”
“Sense of belonging. Reviewing other members has been a huge tool in developing our unit”
“The supportive feedback helps to improve the service without being judged”
As part of the survey, we also asked how people wanted us to deliver our work moving forward. The majority of respondents supported a blended model offering both face to face and online components which we are now implementing.
